Things to do in the Allegheny National Forest
Atv Trails - Rocky Gap, Timberline, Marienville Trail heads
Snowmobile Trails - There are 360 miles of trails in the forest. Trail head only 4 miles from campground.
Canoing & Kayaking- Tionesta Creek boat launch - 1 mile from campground
Brokenstraw Creek, Clarion River, Allegheny River
Allegheny Outfitters - Offers canoe and kayak rentals. A shuttle service is provided to launch site and final destination. www.alleghenyoutfitters.com
Chapman Dam Park - About 20 minutes from campground
Summer time provides fishing, boating, hiking/biking trails, etc...
Winter time provides ice fishing, ice skating, snowshoeing, cross country ski trails, sledding/tobogganing.
The Warren County Winterfest is held at Chapman Park every year in January.
Kinzua Dam/Allegheny Reservoir - About 20 minutes from campground
This is a most impressive place to visit just east of Warren. the area features two scenic overlooks, guided tours, and a visitors center. The Kinzua Dam is a hotspot for water based activities, Boating, Fishing, Water Skiing, and Swimming are among the popular activities.
Kinzua Wolf Run Marina - Offers Dining, Boat Rentals, Boat Launch, Docking, Live Bait, & Tackle. Fishing Tournaments are held here throughout the year with trophy catches to be caught. (814) 726-1650

Blueberry Hill - Regulation 18 Hole Course. Warren & Onoville Rd. Russell, Pa
Cable Hollow - 18 Hole Public Course. 405 Norberg Rd. Russell, Pa
Jackson Valley - 18 Hole Course. 6927 Jackson Run Rd. Warren, Pa
Kane Country Club - Kane
Miniature Golfing - @ 2 different locations with an Ice cream shop along Rt 6 towards Warren.
Fishing - Deer Lick Creek runs the full length of our campground and is stocked in spring.
Chapman Dam - Kinzua Dam/ Allegheny Reservoir - Tionesta Creek and a host of other streams and creeks in the area which are stocked.
Hunting - Lots of area to hunt in the Forest and State Game Lands.
Access to the National Forest right from campground. Great for bear, turkey and deer hunting.

Festival - The town of Sheffield is the host every year to the Johnny Apple Seed Festival which is held in October. It features Professional Lumberjack competions, Chainsaw Carvers and much more.
CRAFT FESTIVAL -Our Campground will be Hosting our 3rd annual Fall Festival October 13th. Come and join us.
