​​Snowmobile Trails - There are 360 miles of trails in the forest.

We do not have direct access from the campground to the trails but the trail heads are only about 15 minutes to 30 minutes . Depending which one you go to.

Hiking & Biking- Numerous trails throughout the forest area.  Pick up brochures in store.

Chapman Dam State Park - About 20 minutes from campground.

Summer time provides fishing, boating, hiking & biking trails, etc...

Winter time provides cross country skiing, sledding/tobagging, ice fishing, ice skating, etc...

Host to the Warren County Winterfest in January.

Kinzua Dam/Allegheny Resorvoir- About 20 minutes from campground.

This is a most impressive place in Warren. The area features two scenic overlooks, guided tours, and a visitor center.   Boating, Fishing, and Water Skiing are some of the activities at the Kinzua Dam.

 Kinzua Wolf Run Marina    - Offers Dining, Boat Rentals, Boat Launch, Docking, Live Bait, and

Fishing Tournaments throughout the year with trophy catches to be caught. (814 726-1650)

Kinzua Bridge/Skywalk - In Mt. Jewett -   Once the 8th wonder of the world this Historic Railroad Bridge is a tourist delight.   If you dare - walk out to the end of the bridge to see the most spectacular view of the valley.       35 minutes from the campground

Golfing - 

Blueberry Hill  regulation 18 hole course. Warren & Onoville Rd. Russel

Cable Hollow - 18 hole course.  405 Norberg Rd. Russell

Jackson Valley - 18 hole course.    6927 Jackson Valley Rd. Warren

Kane Country Club -  Kane    Open to the public

Miniature Golf- 2 different locations with Ice Cream shops. Rt. 6 towards Warren.

Within 5 miles of campground. 

Fishing Deerlick Creek runs the full length of campground and has native trout.

Chapman Dam ,  Kinzua Dam,  Allegheny River, Tionesta creek and a host of other creeks and streams which are stocked and in the area.

Hunting- Lots of hunting in the Forest and State Game Lands.  Great for bear, deer, turkey and grouse hunting. Walk right from the campground into the ANF.

Finding Big Foot- Great adventure starts here in the ANF area which is the gateway to

Big Foot/Sasquatch territory.  Spend a day or so looking for Big Foot - get out your bells & whistles and Big Foot calls and see if you can him/her to respond.

**FestivalsThe town of Sheffield is the host every year to the Johnny Apple Seed Festival which is held in October. It features Professional Lumberjack competitions, tractor pulls, horse pulls, craft vendors and much more....
